Short Spiral filter Tubes question.

Hi. I am newbie here.
I have sample OEM filter from friend, and when I open it there is Short Spiral metal filter inside membrane.
looks not normal to me, because I was open several oil filter and this is different from other.
I was think this is factory defect, if filter is wet with oil there are no inner support this area.
what might happen if i use this kind filter ?

and this is inside can, there are mark of paint spray.
when I was open other oil filter inside was clean and no paint mark.
is this ok for use ?

Is it like that on both ends of the tube?

yes it is side of base plate.

The piece of metal used to make that center tube got chewed up in the manufacturing process. Not normal.

Hello, I wonder if it's a case of the stock used to make the center tube coming to its end. There was still enough material to stay in place while the filter was assembled.

Can the OP open another OE filter? Kira

infact I don't know manufacturing process how they make it. what I guess they use short center tube.

Where was that filter sourced? Are you positive it is genuine?

this OEM sample filter from South Korea. and this is sample only so there is no printing on it.
