Shell Rotella T6 10w30... thoughts???

Poured it in the FJ this past Tuesday and have driven it 230 miles. NEVER, have I had an FJ run this smooth and nice, and this is my second one. I'm sold, don't care what anyone thinks.

TBI over 10.. and HTHS over 3.5.

I use the T6 10w30 in my lawn mower and my generator works great.

T6 10w30 is probably a completely awesome small engine choice!!!! I will pour it in all my Briggs and Honda's moving forward.

I've ran T6 in everything from a Case International 5288 (still running to this day) to a Land Rover Discovery TD6 to my Yamaha 225SHO and it's never let me down on anything. I have a buddy that buys it by the 55 gal and runs it in his tractors, suburban 3.0l, F350 diesel, and his wifes GX460 with 260k miles. Seems to do the job great. Really holds up well in boat engines.

I felt the same way when I put M1 Euro 0w-40 in my Ranger.

I ran many of 4K oil changes over the years with my 2000 Dodge Ram 4WD 5.2L and T5 Rotella 10W30 with zero issues. Sold recently with 93K on it and running like a champ.

It is JASO and CK, but not SN for gasoline automobiles. The picture is accurate.

To qualify for JASO, it must first qualify for a current API spec though.

Chevron Delo XLE 10w30
Valvoline Premium Blue 10w30

Both are rated SN+ and are synthetic blends. I've used the Delo before and has worked well for me but has gotten hard to source locally. I have some of the Valvoline that was purchased directly from them just haven't used it yet but would like to run it in my B&S opposed twin.
