Shell Rotella T 5w40 in LT1 Camaro?

I have a higher mileage(94k)97 LT1 Camaro Z28. I'm debating on whether to go with Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 or Shell Rotella T 5w40 for my next oil change. I've been using German Castrol 0w30 and my engine is much more noisey on it. So my question is: Is the Shell Rotella T 5w40 ok to use in this type of car?

Sure, the new Rotella T6 5w30 is even thinner with a better basestock (well that is what they are saying).

personally i love Rotella, id go with the 15W40 if you want dino and the 5W40 if you wanna go synthetic
