Shell full synthetic 5w-20 ( SN/GF-5 ) ; Thicker

than other 5w-20 oils ? This oil doesn't seem much louder in the engine than the Shell full synthetic 5w30 ( SN/GF-5 ) . The 5w-20 fill of synthetic seems about the same loudness as the Pennzoil Y.B. 5w30 (SN/GF-5 ) used two O.C.s ago . Come to think of it , did a fill of Pennzoil Platinum 5w-20 ( SM/GF-4 ) not long after buying the YARIS sedan and the engine was quite loud . The other 1/2 noticed it too . So , dumped it about 1,000 miles later and went back to 5w30 synthetic which was quieter . The Shell syn 5w-20 ( SN ) definitely is more quiet than the Platinum 5w-20 (SM)( thinner ? ) . Thanks

Where are you getting Shell synthetic oil in the states? Other than Rotella, you can't find it here.

BJ's wholesale clubs have it. My local BJ's just started stocking the 5W-20 also.

Is it the Helix line? We don't have BJ's around here.
