I have never shaved my head. I once cut the hair really short like a 1/4 inch, and didn't like the look.

Would you? Have you?

Why did/do you?

For 28 years I've shaved my head. Receding hairline at 25 made it useful. I've saved thousands in shampoo, etc.

Nope. I still have a full head of hair, which is graying early however. I keep my hair around 3" on top, have the sides cut shorter with a number 4 comb and blended in.

I'm 30 and have a full head of long hair (few inches). No need to cut anything... My brother on the other hand wasn't so lucky and is practically shaved due to hairline and such.

So You look like a cop from those early 70 cop shows?

Next cold Winter I'm considering a mullet ! -

My buzzed neck sends a chill down my spine in this cold weather!

I've been balding since my early 30's. Typically kept hair very short and wore a short beard.

However, one day I noticed that I had a second stripe on back. So, not just a huge bald spot but missing hair on what remains.

That was it. Shaved clean. Anything else looked sloppy.

Feels great and many people seem to like it.

I have a full head of hair but cut it as short as I can get it without actually shaving. So, clippers with no guard. Not sure of the actual length - 1/16"?

My hair is very thick and I've always hated it. I first cut my hair short in first grade. About 30 years ago. Haven't looked back.

I'd give you balding guys my hair if I could.

Had a receding hairline since I was 25 or so... wife loves clean shaved look so why argue! It was hard to stay warm in the winter when we lived in VA so I kept a beenie on but that hasn't been a problem here in Florida!

yup, down to 0.25" once a week..or every other week in the winter. Been doing it for 35 years. I did "bick it" for several months in support of a co-worker going through cancer treatments. Never been to a barber, etc. ever.

Don' shave my head, but cut my own hair using a # 4 cutter with a # 2 for the sides. Shortest its ever been was while I was in the military. White walled on the sides and super short on top.

I am 25 and it's time to shave my head. My dad is bald, my grandpa is bald and my great grandpa was bald and I am assuming his dad was bald as well. It has really receded in the last few years (I always blame it on the fiance). I ALMOST shaved it completely off this weekend but can't bring myself to do it.

Due to thinning hair, I have either kept my head shaved or clipper length (no attachments) for 15 years. And yes, you can get a sunburn, that's why they make hats with sun protection or you can put sunscreen on your head...it's not that hard.

I've used the #1 guard on my trimmers by accident. That's close to shaved. I thought it look cool if I ever wanted to shave my head but that preview let me know better.

Sixty-three & it's all still there! Thought I would follow in the footsteps of the old man & have developed a bald patch by now but the hair follicles are still hanging on.

Never felt any compulsion to 'go Kojak'. Hope things stay this way for a few years yet.

I am 30 and used to have shoulder length hair until a few months ago. I had it trimmed to about six or so inches after I'm pretty sure it made a bad first impression on a chrome dome boss at a new job and eventually cost me that job.

Funnily enough I interviewed at a new job before I had a chance to cut it and got the job. That boss had a full head of hair but seemed to be more interested the quality of my tools. I have a huge, square head and long hair hides it's true dimensions.

Spartans veterans wore their hair long! There are accounts of them combing it between actions at the battle of Thermopylae!

Not my head but I've had a mustache forever and when I got good and grey headed, I cut it off just to see. My upper lip area was always so cold...I never would've guessed it made that much difference, and grew it back. I can't imagine the whole head shaved. Cold in winter, burned in summer.
