When I get the plugs changed in the VUE at 100K, I will personally buy Iridium plugs for the mechanic to put in there. When you have a vehicle where it is so hard to change the plugs, I aint takin' any chances on the plugs.

My 2nd set of NGK Iridiums and worth every cent. Better idle and smoother acceleration from more complete fuel burn. Search the NGK site for photo of fuel burn compared to std NGK copper plugs

My car came with Irridiums and they got replaced with platinums because I couldn't find one step colder irridiums. It's hard for me to go the recommended 100K+ miles. My car idled better when I replaced my plugs at 45K. I think the car will still run at 100K on the original irridium plugs but it won't be running it's best.

My GN, even though it has rich spots in the fuel curve seems to be easier on plugs than the TL. There have been times I've pulled the plugs and they look like they've never been used. Could be the methanol injection I guess.
