So i bought 3 mobil1 oil filters off rockauto for $18. Im going to use it on my next 3 oil changes. The look a little dated. So what's the self life and how can i tell what the date code is?

Keep oil filters in a cool dry place, they are good for 20 years.
My self life is 85 years and date code of 07/13/1993
My self life is about 88 years. Then they will convert me into Soylent Green.
