You are paying for something that ain't broke with a home warranty..............so........ If it ain't broke.........why are you payin' to "fix" it? Better to pay as you go when something breaks. Jmo.

Yeah, I can see that, its a good ROI as you don't care what the insurance company actually does, and no one will tell the buyer the warranty is likely to be useless... I love real estate agents!

Self insure for everything except auto, health and home owner. Put the money you’d pay for the offered policy into the bank you’ll likely stay ahead. Eg life does wrong fund.
