Sealed Bottle of Zerex Dexcool Coolant - Shelflife?

Hey there,

I did a flush back in 2022, with a bottle with a date stamp of '22. I will be flushing coolant in 5 years from that, in 2027.. I bought too many and have a sealed unused bottle. If I use this in 2027

A. will it be ok sitting for that time and still be good
B. will it be good for 5 years of service once used

its good for what 10 years in an engine? I would guess decades in the bottle

There will be no problem from the shelf life alone.
