Wife bought a new red Subaru Crosstrek to replace her old red Subaru Crosstrek. It literally has 30 miles on it. I was going to wash it and apply Power Lock sealant. Other suggestions. Looking for long lasting paint protection vs showroom shine.

Power Lock is about the best one out there and that is what I would use, and do use. It lasts a long time.

Go with a bottle of gNuFinish. $8 at EvilMart. One application lasts for 100 car washes. Pleasing earthy fragrance and even protects against occasional pesky cheetah scratches.

Honestly just top the Powerlock a day later with TW seal n shine. It lasts and lasts and is chemical resistant

Those are all good choices. A lot of people like FK 1000p and 476 in heavy winter states. Gyeon CanCoat and Megs Hybrid Paint Coating too.

With your winter climate, I’d:

Wash
Clay
Polish
Menzerna Power Lock Plus (follow the label directions for bonding time before removal; 30-45 minutes, if I recall correctly)
Add a topcoat of PL Plus or Collinite 845S

Sit back and enjoy the durability and shine!
