I have a friend in CO who owns an America LaFrance 1948?
I did a tune-up and clutch on a fire truck with one of these back in the early 70's. It was interesting. I also help with a rebuild of a flat Ford around the same time in a fire truck. They were used as fire trucks in the steel mills in Indiana.
