Will this cause any conflict when added in to gas tank?
Just wondering if anyone tried?

I added a little MMO to my tank, now I'm 1/8th to my next fill up and I want to know if it is safe to add the Seafoam on my fill up?
Thanks.

i have only used mmo in gasoline. but i would use only one. my idea is to use mmo all the time or not at all. and only in the gasoline. i have nothing against seafoam. a friend told a story about a man he met that had a two engine gasoline aircraft. used mmo ALL the time. the faa told him he had to overhaul the engines. the mech called him and ask "why are we overhauling the engines" what do you mean? "well there isnt any thing wrong with them" i have been using mmo for decades, the thing i like about mmo is that the engine starts better, saves batterys, starters. but thinking ill get longer life might be true, but like must people i trade before it wears out. ie most people trade cause they get tired of it

Don't compound them. Run a fresh fuel fill in between the MMO & Seafoam.

FAA requires aircraft to do Major Engine Overhauls at 2000 hours of running time.

^ Without going into detail it all depends on how the aircraft is used. For the vast majority of piston engines in the USA overhaul at the manufacturer's published time is not required by the FAA.

Raz - What are you using the Seafoam for in the gas tank? What are your objectives?
I'd use a modern cleaner like Techron or Regane, if you need injector, valve, and combustion chamber cleaning.
Do a strong solution and don't use MMO for this tank full.
Then resume your regular MMO.

Required overhaul (TBO 2000) is only for "for hire" aircraft. Also this overhaul is only a teardown, inspection, and re-assembly. Only out of spec parts are replaced, at a minimum.
