scratch fix sucess

I had a couple vertical fender scratches and bird dropping damage (ran down the fender) repaired by a touch up specialist.
He filled the scratches (they were not through clear coat and could be felt with finger nail) with clear coat and sanded with 3,000 grit paper and polished it out. bird droppings were sanded and poished.

End result is quite good. Not perfect on the scratches as I can see slight ripples in certian light. I will use service again if needed. cheaper than repaint at $75.

Actually, there is partial sucess. Under certain light you can see the scratches in the clear coat, even though filled. Cannot feel them as they wer filled with clear coal and sanded smooth. I guess clear coat scratches filled show up like a crack in clear glass. cannot feel it but can see the edges. I guess this is the best you can do without a repaint. Look so much better.
