Yes, $2.02. That was about half of what the Frams were selling for. Picked up 4, thinking about going back for some more tomorrow.....

Don't bother. They've always been $2.07 for as long as I can remember. There's no reason to think that they'll change soon ..at least to any substantial price change.

Yeah, they've always been 2.07 but they're not always in stock (someimes 3 weeks at a time) so at ~2 bucks a piece...not a bad idea to have a small stash so they're always available and you don't have to wait in those long lines.
Heh...I remember when they went up from $1.97...the way some people here hooted about it, you'd think the world was coming to an end...
So I was probably getting excited for nothing....I didn't remember them being that cheap.
The wife was with me when I bought them, so I opened up a box and showed her one. She said "That looks like a well made oil filter". (Like she would even know what it was if not for the print on the box.....
) But they did look good, with clean edges, slick paint, smooth crimps, etc. By comparison, the Purolators and Phrams look kinda rough.....

The store I was in had Phrams on the entire length of the shelf, except for about 3 feet on the very end. I almost walked by without seeing the SuperTechs.
I guess it must be up to the section manager, as to how much shelf space is alloted to each brand.....?

I don't know. That's how it is at my WallyWorld. 19 ft of Orange and at the end ..a mix of ST/MC ..and a few Mopar.
They are hard to find because the oil change techs come in and get them off the shelfs for oil changes. Two of them did it while I was getting Motrocraft oil & filters monday. Monday is not a good day to go oil & filter shopping. The too cheap price scared me away from them but they may be fine.
