From what I have seen in the UOA section, Schaeffer's Supreme 7000 5w-30 seems to provide beyond excellent UOA's in V-6 & 4 cylinder engines. At the same time, I haven't seen anything great about this oil in a V-8 engine at all.

I am considering running this in my GF's 2001 Mercury (Non Tritan 5.0L engine) at 5,000 mile OCI's. Has anybody had any good results with Schaeffer's in a V-8?

I agree 'Kule which is why I invested a couple hundred dollars in a Schaeffer oil inventory.

I used in my 5.7L V8 in a Burb and found it to be OK, but I had a small air leak somewhere which skewed the results somewhat. I used the 10W30.

I think Price/Performance of Schaeffer's products are just great.
