schaeffers moly ep

Why not just use Schaeffer oil and get the same thing in a good mix? According to PQIA, Schaeffer 5w30 9000 showed moly at 309. Antimony at 69.

I went with the valvoline maxlife HM 5w30 and a half bottle of the moley EP. This is a vehicle my son drives back and forth to school about 10 miles a day. I had occasion to use the vechicle this weekend and the first thing I noticed is that the puff of smoke at start up has been eliminated. My son said he noticed it gone too as he drives it every day.

The oil pressure is definitely higher, running about 45 at idle after warm and closer to 60 when cold. This may be a concern in the winter, lucky for now we are having very mild temperatures in the midwest. I will keep an eye and monitor the progress of this additive. In the future, i would likely go with a 5w-20 HM and the half bottle moly EP in the winter. For summer, it remains to be seen how this 5w30 with moly EP will perform.

For now, i am sold on this product with this oil mix.

i can't speak for others, but i wanted the seal sweller additive's that are also found in the high mileage oils. i was not able to find anything high mileage on the schaeffer's website.

i can attest and recommend the schaeffer's moly ep product, it has worked for me for now.

this is one persons experience and other people's experience may vary.
