My Subaru WRX's transaxle's synchros could use some help. The transmission in these cars is notorious for being notchy. I've heard that Schaeffer's #132 will help the synchros grab better with good EP properties.
Sounds like the perfect match for the WRX's transaxle fluid which houses the transmission and front diff where Subaru recommends a GL-5. Can anyone confirm that it's safe to use? I'd love to use RedLine MT-90 in this transaxle for it's shifting properties, but wouldn't use a GL-4 with the diff sharing the same fluid.
Thanks,
Dave
