It supposedly is on Ford vehicles. The shop manual talks about it. But I've never gotten injector information out of a Ford vehicle before, probably not doing something right.
Anyway, that is not how the scangauge works. If I had to guess I'd say that it's either using MAF or intake manifold vacuum to determine how much gas is being used.
