Saw one hole but it was 3

washing the cars today i notice the CRV tire was low. looked at it and there was a screw. So i popped it off and took it to DT . picked it up couple of hours later and there was 3 nubs where patches were installed. one was in a straight line from the center from the screw and the other was really close to the forbidden zone.

what are the chances of 3 holes in a tire? is there a limit on how many repairs a tire can have?

Technically no limit but the patches can't overlap on the inside of the casing.

Well I had 2 holes about 1/2" apart, but I saw it coming. A piece of plywood, back of it facing up with what looked like 100 nails sticking up. I'm in the left lane, cars in front, back and beside me..........no where to go. Hit it square. Kept a eye on the TPMS. Left front first, had to change it. Next morning to take tire up to get fixed.........left rear. LF 2 holes. LR 1 hole. So ya, it happens.
