If we really are going to have a new Lance thread every time there's an accusation/counter-accusation, then please use 'Lance' in the topic heading.

Lance can deny it all he wants because there is no way to confirm what was in those samples. I would like to know if they tested all the samples that they kep from 1999 or if they just tested Lances? I read somewhere that they tested a few other samples that were clean but they did not reveal the name of the owner of those samples.

He admitted he was administered the red blood cell enhancing stuff when he was undergoing cancer treatment and at that time (99 Tour), doping tests couldn't test for it. The French can't get over his success. It's not like lance's victories are illegitimate cause of these lame allegations. It shows more about the French than Lance.

kenw,

funny how this comes up a mere 6 years later. long after the A samples have been destroyed.

It was interesting that one of the Aussie co-developers of the test, Robin Parisitto questioned how the lab would know that the (numbered) samples were Armstrongs, as that would need the co-operation of the Tour Organisers and/or the International Cycling Union, whaich apparently there wasn't.

Hello? A French tabloid sports rag tries to sell newspapers, and y'all get your knickers in a twist about gratitude after WWII? Come on, now. Stay focussed.
PS. Paris rocks! Doh! Was that out loud...?
