I installed the S3XY Stalks on our '24 M3P for a number of reasons, primarily due to the button-operated turn signals. Whether you like them or not, I found the left turn button would stick and not operate at times. Not good. There's a plethora of things you can do with the Enhance Auto Commander products which makes the car better. FYI Tesla brought back the turn signal stalk in 2025.

Anyways, the stalks were dead this morning. There is a C2032 battery for the Bluetooth connectivity, but it should last longer. I replaced it (easy as heck) but no luck. The next step is to reboot the Commander, which is the module "brain" for the various product peripherals. Takes 1 minute to access; open passenger door, pull back weatherstripping, remove small dash planel and side trim. The Commander is daisy chained to the harness. Easy peasey. Unplug Commander, count to 15 or whatever and plug back in. Bingo! Back in business.

I hate computers... The unplug-plug reset is at 2:13 minute point.

This is the only real thing I don't like about electronic aftermarket addons. They don't always play nicely.

Maybe Elon wrote code and updated your car to make the non-OEM stalks not work?
Not sure if you are joking, but Tesla probably could have disabled the aftermarket product via software update. I was a little gunshy to but the stalks at the time, but I am glad I did. You also get the best blind sport warning in the business, which I really like. A central software based vehicle allows for so much functionality. Finally someone else, BMW, is starting to catch up, with their "Heart of Joy" design.

Been seamless up to today. Plus, the other benefits make the car better. I am very happy with the product, especially the blind spot functionality. As good as it gets.
