RX300 oil suggestions?

I have one of those fun sludge-prone RX300s that I just bought. No sludge issues present, 97,500 miles on the engine. Owner has used the local Lexus dealer for oil changes and they claim to use a Pennzoil synthetic blend (not the SUV blend). I am considering PP or Mobil 1.

My goal is to run this vehicle 300,000 miles. I actually mean it, too.

OCI will be ~4,000 miles due to my living in Hotlanta and due to the notorius sludging issues with this engine.

What are your recommendations?

PP would be my vote.

I like the pennzoil platinum also but since the price went up so much i have been using conoco phillips Kendall and also the regular conoco and the uoa's come back good,mostf not all of their oils are synthetic blend or synthetic.. We get their oil by the drums at our shop good stuff

My daughter had a 99 RX300 and used M1 10-30 with very good results.
