Hi everyone,

I stopped in our local Rural King the other day. I stopped in the motor oil section to look around, and they are now carrying Delvac 1 5W-40 ESP. They have both the one gallon containers as well as the 5 gallon pails. The one gallon containers are $22.99, I believe, and the 5 gallon pails are $119.99. Mobil must be working on marketing the Delvac brand, below the 1 gallon containers was a cutout of a piston, which said something about premium protection for the pistons, and it said visit the Delvac webpage for more info.

Next to the oil bottles were the new rebate forms. Mobil is having rebates on both Delvac and Mobil 1 oils, and they have both forms there at Rural King. According to the Mobil website, Rural King is a participating retailer.

The rebate is for $60 on the 5 gallon pail, limit two $60 rebates.
That means buying it from RK for $119.99, $60 off would bring it down to $59.99.
Around $3 a quart for Delvac 1 5W-40, that's a good deal. I'm glad they are offering these rebates, we have diesel tractors on our farm, using the rebates allows us to use a good quality synthetic oil for a really good price.

The rebate is $12 for the one gallon jugs, limit of five.

That is an exceptionally good price for that product. One of the best full synthetic nationally branded 5w40 oils on the market

Based on some of the oil samples I have seen, if I was using Delvac I would probably be swayed to using their Elite syn blend. Very good results from what i have seen and a better value.

I was looking at the Elite, was thinking of trying it, but, I haven't been able to find it around here, none of the stores I have been to are carrying it.

You will most likely have to get the Elite from a Mobil jobber/distributor
