Look back a page. There's a couple of threads on them. They appear to be a good filter like K&N and M1 ..and are made by the same outfit, Champ Labs.

Just about any filter will go 12k assuming the conditions are right. The level of filtration may vary ..

Top of the line filters, better then the M1 and K&N line,in the same league with Eao's,UPF's,Fleetguard's,TRD's,etc. Capable of waay longer then 12k.

ran my last FG out to 7,000 and it looked great inside still, wasted a filter.

I ran an Amsoil EAO filter 2 1/2 years and 13K and it looked perfect inside (synthetic oil). The RP filter is an extended drain filter.

So do I, but no Pep Boys near by,so they can keep'em. I could care less anymore, they dont want to make them more widely available,so their loss as well.

I bought 4 of them when PepBoys was doing the $10 off $30 purchase promotion. $10 a filter isn't exactly cheap, but hopefully they'll inspire enough confidence for me to run them for 2 OCI's each.

They would do 2 OCI no problem, just remove, empty old oil, then put back on..

It isn't that RP doesn't want to make them available. RP actually isn't the company producing the filters for sale. PepBoys bought the naming/licensing rights to use the RP name on the filters and they have them made for sale in their stores. Other companies could have done the same.

So We will never see RP filters in Canada :) No PEP Boys here that sucks

I am going to say no unless PepBoys opens up stores near you. They are literally the ONLY place that sells them and as far as can be told ever will. They bought "exclusive rights" to sell them from RP.

Has anyone had any success buying an RP filter from Schlepp Boys' crummy website? I tried numerous times lately and it's not available online AFAIK.

It's only available from PepBoys. RP has nothing to do with it other than licensing their name ..and maybe assuring a given level of quality associated with it.

I doubt that they would have sold their name if Fram was going to be the filter manufacturer of choice.

Nope. No RP filters available as of yet online. I would assuume that eventually they will be. Remember that PB only got these filters in like February. Pretty new product. Takes these places a good year+ to update their sites to include new stuff( ie; products, new models, etc... ).
