Hello! First time to post but I’ve read on here for a while. I bought a ‘59 ingersol rand gyro Flo 85 air compressor. It is a rotary vane compressor. I’ve drained the oil, cleaned the filter and am getting ready to replace the oil. Looking at the spec given in the manual, im having trouble deciding what oil is best suited. I’ve about decided an iso 32 turbine oil would work. Because parts are gonna be hard to find I’d like to make sure and not cause a problem due to incorrect oil and appreciate any help in finding a modern oil that matches the spec given. Thank you!

Citgo Pacemaker T32 would be a fantastic fit for that and a great turbine grade oil for a moderate price.

I don't think you need anything super fancy. Nothing like P66 Diamond class. Nor any full synthetics.

If you need help sourcing it, PM me. And I’ll point you towards a local source.

I’ve utilized this product a lot in large air systems and older air systems. It’s really a fantastic product.
