Rollback period is over for Havoline, M1 and Pennzoil at Walmart

Checking online right now, at least with online purchase for store pick up, prices locally have not changed, 'yet.' Your increases may be an indication of things to come elsewhere. QS FS showing~$23.

Wonder if Super Tech will try following with raising raising there oil prices for there Advanced 20K oil like it was before? If not, people will really be jumping on the Wally Mart oil band wagon.

I tried to buy a jug of 5W30 Super Tech 20,000 mile oil- there were dozens of them.

They were all covered in oil like something leaked and the display were they sit is full of oil.

I am convinced Super Tech is the best choice for my 2007 Tahoe with 61K.

I usually change around 3,000 miles - that was about every 18 months. I have been driving more lately - so I may do a 5K oil change which will be about a year.

I see no advantage using expensive oil changing it this often.

If ST is still $20 a jug I may buy 2.

Noticed the other day that AZ oil changes bundles are getting pretty close to WM prices.

AZ:
VL ADV & STP XL - $35
EDGE & STP XL - $36
PP & STP XL - $36
M1 & STP XL -$39

WM:
VL ADV & Fram XG - $34
EDGE & Fram XG - $34
PP & Fram XG - $33
M1 & Fram XG - $37

I have to pass by the AZ to get to the WM from my house. For only a few bucks difference I wouldn’t even hassle with WM.

Along those same lines, I went to a Beall's Department store yeterday. These stores are pretty common in Florida, not to sure about other states. Anyway, they've always been known for nice discounts on clothing items and shoes, as well as swimwear, you get the idea.
Yesterday, not a SINGLE sale tag anywhere. None!
Needless to say, the store was nearly empty.

That's why I did drive-up for Walmart sold oil and other car care products. Then they started having it where they had to scan your phone, and it became too much of a hassle for me haha. I loved getting those prices without the hassle of going inside. Now I'm back to ordering online.

Yeah noticed this yesterday at Walmart. Mobil1 EP at 29.97

The box of Mobil1 0W40 FS is $60 even. That’s 12 quarts I believe. That’s the last remaining “bargain”. Although I did notice the 0W30 ESP was $27.

Pennzoil was the lowest out of all the major brands. Then again they don’t sell their best oil at Walmart (Ultra)…if you consider that their best. And I haven’t seen Pennzoil euro since August.

Is this a winter thing? I seem to remember this happening last winter too, but I could be wrong.
