Rock does not have any warehouses nor do they have a single part in inventory. They are simply a website that has a collection of auto part distributors that are separately owned and operated. There newest is United Auto Supply a privately owned autoparts supplier with over 30 locations in three stateswith there mega warehouse located in Syracuse Ny is where they fulfill the orders for Rockauto with a current inventory of over 23 million dollars and currently filling anywhere from 600 to 2200 orders a day. A huge undertaking by the owner to grow in a short period of time from a warehouse with 20 or so employees to over 120. And growing more. I am lucky to of had the opportunity to work for this great company where almost every day the owner is elbow deep alongside his team to make sure there doing the beat job they can...with the ability to double the square footage and inventory as well as work force hopefully in the near future. A huge shoutout to JAMES Thank you for thw opportunity to be a part of a great Team and the pleasure of working for a great man such as yourself. Good info, thanks. FYI, my last RA purchase of Raybestos RPT (now Element3) rotors last fall came out of Syracuse. I'd add they were delivered very quickly using only RA standard shipping.

They have one in Mississauga, Ontario. Sometimes the parts I order (and I order a lot from them) it will either come from various warehouses in the U.S. or the Mississauga warehouse here in Ontario. The warehouse here is a "customs bonded" type warehouse so while the inventory exists in Canada technically it's considered in the U.S. and it's subject to duty and customs inspection as they see fit.
My latest air filters were tracked by Fedex from Sugarland to Houston, then by jet to Nashville, then jet to Calgary, then overland to Cranbrook BC, then by Dakota shipping to my place, supplemented by 3 dog biscuits from Rob, the driver, for my dog.

A success story is still preferable to entitlement threads wherein people think that those paying a far higher percentage of income taxes than they are, should pay even more.

Im glad orders are picked and shipped generally the same day that they are placed provided all parts are in inventory at united auto supplys mega warehouse . in some cases the parts have to be transfered from one of the other 29 locations that they have in those casses the orders are shipped within the next day.
