Rob Holland, Aerobatic Pilot, killed in Crash

This one hits kinda hard, been a fan of his for years.

Apparently one article stated this morning that the prototype crashed, and that his aircraft crashed upon a routine landing. I'm curious to see what comes out of this.

A friend has an MX2 (the two seat version of the MXs) and I've flown it a few times. It's an impressive plane and well developed plane with no bad habits. Light, responsive, low stall speed, tough as nails, with 14 or 16G capabilities. The precursor to this plane might be the Giles 202, and there was at least one that experienced an in flight breakup in 2015, at SWF, where the empennage failed.
