RIP Mike Hynson "The Endless Summer"

Hmmm...Maybe it'll surface on streaming services.
I'd like to see it. I've no idea of theme, plot, target age (if any) or quality.
Magazine ads for posters always included The Endless Summer silhouette...just 2 colors, classic.

It's without a doubt, THE most iconic surf movie of all time. Here you go.

My friends and I sat through about The Endless Summer multiple times when it released in 1966. Without checking, I believe it was mostly filmed in 1963. We were all serious skateboarders and wannabe surfers. In 1968 or so we actually started surfing. I quit in about 1978. All East coast. RIP Mr. Hynson.

Bruce Brown was a great independent film maker. He made a number of other earlier surf films in the '50's and early '60's, but Endless Summer was for the general public and wide release.
