Goldline Brakes restored these ATE calipers. I chose the black Polymer coating. I will replace the calipers on the red 1993 Classic and send the calipers from the car to Goldline.

The service, communication and quality at Goldline is excellent.

I asked Goldline the cost to rebuild one for my truck and with polymer coating it was $210 each. Seems a bit much as long as you can still buy new or rebuilt.

The polymer coating looks nice.

Two week turn around.

Big box restored calipers cost about $300. I would rather pay $100 more for the best product possible.

I don’t have the bench or equipment. So I’d rather pay to have it done by some who has lots of experience.
Speaking of experience, I would check this piston. Being freshly rebuilt, you should be able to move it or rotate it with just fingers to see if it moves freely.
The way this seal sits, doesn’t look right to me. So double check or have the rebuilders check or comment on this. Or maybe it’s just the way the light reflects, it’s hard to tell.

It is even visually and to the touch.

Big box? You mean the clowns that take rusted and pitted pistons and grind them up to remove rust and stick them back in for them to tear up seal and puke brake fluid?
Bog box? You mean the ones that give you utterly destroyed and cross threaded Bajo bolt and bleed screw holes?

If you have time and knowledge rebuilding may be a better option.
I bought rebuilt calipers with all of the problems above from a major rebuilder.
