Oh I am not criticizing you either... I would prefer it that way also.

I buy plenty of USA produced items. Cars are just not one of them.

Here is the sticker from my Prius:

I have to say, though, my 04 Accord and my 07 Tacoma, both assembled in USA, have been excellent vehicles with very few and minor issues (Tacoma) and none that I remember with the Accord (though I sold it with <40K on odometer).

Psst, when do you start the mods?

Somebody mentioned Mishimoto. I'm looking at their dual oil catch can system for the WRX (it's TGDI, so I want to minimize intake tract deposits).

A close 2nd & 3rd will be an Ecohitch hidden hitch from Torklift (mainly to use bike carrier) and a RADAR detector!

Before the holier than thou "I never speed" wingnuts chime in, I will recommend the Escort Max 360 or else the Valentine One. Both have effective filtering that eliminate false alarms caused by the growing number of vehicles equipped with the various Helen Keller "driving aids" such as blind spot monitoring and automatic braking.

Thanks. Ironically, the WRX is now available with those Helen Keller devices you speak of!
