LoL wasn't a big deal, that mower was one of my curb finds(though it was a fair engine)... Went into back corner of garage and pulled out another Briggs from one I had junked year prior, within 30 minutes I was cutting again..
The replacement swilled oil so badly it required filling before every cutting... The oil issue and the 25+ year old deck was getting pin holes from being used on sandy soil was reason I'd junked that one(still have some of the drive system)... The burner made it another four years before the rod cap busted, kicking out the rod... At that point(2011) I'd acquired the Honda GCV160 engine I've mentioned, so decided to build another mower with my best pieces... Drive system, rear wheels etc from one pictured are now on a 1983 Snapper that originally wasn't self propelled... Tread on rear tires is now history, guess I'll treat it to a set of wheels one of these days...
