Replace plugs and wires

I'm replacing the spark plugs and wires on a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SE 3.3L Flex fuel has 53k on it. Should I replace the coil as well?

Not unless you have any misfire issues.

I would not.
Coils to me are replace as needed, not preventative.
Plugs & wires are what I would do, nothing more.

I wouldn't even change the wires until you start having issues. There are many vehicles out there with over 100k miles running the original wires.

With a Caravan it's tempting considering the effort to get to the rear plugs

My wifes 2006 (in sig) has 63K miles and was purchased new. A couple of weeks ago I puled two front plugs and they looked fine so I am holding off for now. I would inspect the wires (especially the rear) and perhaps have a set ready to go. While you are in there I would be tempted to replace the upstream O2 sensor in the exhaust manifold especially if you are removing the wiper cowl to get to the rear plugs.

The problem is if you wait until 100K miles to get the plugs changed they are going to be a LOT harder.

Change em while it's still under 100K and enjoy the performance being restored!

I replaced the Iridium AC Delco plugs (stamped NGK) at 82k, they were clean, still gapped at factory .060" and I could have easily left them in another 40k I'm sure.
I replaced them anyway, after all the hassle of getting to them, it was easier to not have to worry about it for another 6-7yrs.
