I day rented cheaper “SUV” a 2024 Hyundai Venue for $50 in Puerto Rico to get outside city into rain forest . Seemed mostly to be slightly raised hatchback. Everything scream cheap included touch of rubber steering wheel and plastics.

The digital dash seemed odd and disliked RPM as number not faked gushers. The wireless CarPlay was good but screen too small for my eyes.

Ride was terrible however driveline I give high marks for power from its maybe CVT especially steep mountain grades. Manual AC was okay but no rear ducts made it warm in rear.

I would buy a compact SUV used over this new and regret not spending $32 on renting one of those.

Thanks for the revue.

Venue is sold in India starting at under $10K with a manual trans. Its still has airbags, stability control, and air conditioning. 1 Rupee is worth a little more than one cent.

Venue is the cheapest vehicle hyundai sells.. and you got the rental version.

No surprises. Makes one of those discount hornets look like a BMW.
