Removing Haze From Headlights II

Anybody got a clearcoat recommendation for Walmart or Home Depot? I just hate to spend $20 on something I'll only use once before it dries up.

i dont use sand paper. i just use sponge with polish on rotary attachment to drill. results in the pics.

This is the attachment i used. Comes in a kit with 9 different colour pads. Was very cheapo like under 10 dollars inc delivery.

Id never use sandpaper its too abrasive. I get decent results with just this polish.

lots of options, i got a sylvania kit a while ago but nit tried it yet on my ugly 2011 fronty headlights. it uses sandpapers, 400, 1000 + 2000 as well as activator before sanding by hand + uv blocking clear, gotta do something soon!! thanks to all for their input

I have great results with 0000 Steel Wool and Mequiar's Mag and Aluminum Polish or Mequiar's Ulitmate Compound and finish off with Ultimate Polish. I then clear coat with spray clear coat.

Lamin-X film on my headlights. No yellowing, no dulling, no rock chips. I clean the Lamin-X regularly with Plexus. The film lasts for years and is easily replaced.
