I remember the two local channels, then on good days, you could pull in the channels from the nearest big city which had all the good shows!!

I remember when there were 4 Major networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Dumont. The latter also made television sets.

I remember when we got the remote control no more getting up to change channels.

Never had to change tubes, but I remember the tube testers in the back of the stores near the pinball machines.
