Pep Boys has Lucas fuel injector cleaner and UCL 2 for $9 right now, and Autozone has Regane 2 for $8. Which one is better and why?

We know Regane has a very high percentage of PEA, but it isn't a UCL. Does Lucas use a substantial amount of PEA?

I'm looking more for cleaning than UCL. Sounds like Regane may be the plan.

I use Gumout HM every few months. I also began adding TC-W3 (every fill-up) last fall and my latest emissions were dramatically lower. HC was 15 ppm. Two years ago the HC was 223 ppm on the first idle and 142 ppm on the second idle.

Lucas's marketing machine is kicked in as usual..
the lucas UCL is just that, a lightweight machine oil with very little (if any) detergent.
According the MSDS on lucas's UCL is't 10% addtive and 90% heavy paraffinic distillate, which is mainly lubricating oils and parrafin wax.
You'd have to run A LOT of the UCL to get it to clean anything.
The Regane is your best bet if you have to choose.

the lucas UCL has its place, but not 100% for what it's advertised.
