Reducing exhaust smell on a small 2 stroke

I wished I bought a 2 cycle lawn boy I saw one at the local hardware store and waited a couple of years for a markdown when all of a sudden it was gone .The owner of the hardware store donated it for a raffle to benefit the volunteer fire dept. I have to say I didn't win the lawnmower.

Heh heh, I like the the smell. I add a little MMO to all my OPE fuel. I run a rich mix in my 2 strokes with a bit of MMO on top.

There is a company named Irving Oil Co. (Portsmouth, NH & St John, NB Canada).

Anyway, they make a 2 cycle, VANILLA scented oil, called Syn Trax. I haven't tried it, but I thought that, if you used it, you would come in the house smelling like a baked, cake!

Ipone makes a strawberry scented oil for scooters. Google it. It's available in many motorcycle outlets. Mobil MX2T isn't harsh. I'm partial to Castrol A747 for that traditional sweet smell. Maxima Castor 927 has a sweet smell also. Remember that castor based (beanoils) oils have a tendency to separate in cold weather if you use them.

Try the local snowmobile dealer, they oughta know!
Snowmobilers have tremendous problems with smell-trust me.
Owning a 1000 cc tripplet with 170 hp i know what its like.

Here in sweden we can buy "alkylate premixed fuel" for chainsaws
these are basically "syntetic" gasoline with a low smoke syn oil, once youve start using it in your two strokes you never get back (and you never change plugs either). Its way to expensive to use in a snowmobile thou-abaout 20% up.
