Redline SI-1 kicks #@$%!!

SI-2 is the same as SI-1 only in a one tank package for BMW.Interesting observation thanks for pointing that out,if Redline is good enough for BMW to give SI-1 its own BMW part# then that says a lot.I'm sure BMW did much more intensive testing on this than maybe even Terry did,but as GMorg said the product has changed so i guess its possible Terry didn't do any test with this version.

As pointed out by Trav, SI-1 and SI-2 were only different based on packaging. However, at least in the US, I don't think that SI-2 is currently available. On the US Redline site, they list SI-1 as a current product and yet provide the MSDS for only SI-2.

I just put a whole bottle in my weekend car- Mercedes 500 SE.

I put 1 bottle to about 70 litres of fuel.

How long would it be ok for this stuff to sit in the tank?

I love this stuff as well. I think it improves the quality of the gas I run (87 reg.). Car feels much more responsive when I add 1-2oz's of the stuff per fill up. I use it all the time.

Long's Drugs sells SI-1 for about $4.50 a bottle all the time.

They also have Redline 75w90 for 7 bucks a bottle. However they want $11 for Syntec when they also have RR sits right next to it for $8.
