Redline 75w-90 Gear Oil

Has anyone tried the redline 75w-90 Gear Oil in a Harley 6spd transmission?
This is NOT the Shockproof Gear oil for Motorcycles..

I have some left over from rear end oil change on Dodge 2500 and getting ready for 20k service on bike. I have the Amsoil 75w-110 Gear Oil in the bike now..

It's confusing because they state not for use in manual trans? Confusing to say?

Yeah, I know..but don't think we have Syncro Mesh (Brass Mesh gears) in the 6spd transmission..
I like the part of it's too slippery...

love redline 75/90 have it in the front and rear diffs inmy Silverado.. cant comment as to if its save in your HOG, call redline and find out.. let us know.

I find it interesting that a 75w-90 GL5 gear oil (155index)has a lower viscosity than a 20w-50(152index) Engine Oil...guess my old salty mind is slipping???

One is under high heat loading while the other ain't, I would assume. The are measured according to their intended purpose. I am guessing that if one were to cross-purpose the two oils, the 'opposite' nomenclature would apply in each case. Again, talking out my hind-end here.

I run the Redline 75W-90 in my Toyota 4Runner V8 2007. Front and rear diffs and transfer case. Works as advertised and recommended by Redline.

In my Harley RKC 103 with six speed transmission, I use the Shockproof Heavy as recommended by Redline and countless other Harley riders. The Shockproof works perfectly.
