Redline 75-90

Question guy's. Ford recommends 75-140 syn for my 2001 GT Mustang and I do drag race on the weekends. Would Redline gear lub 75-90 give me the same protection as the factory fill 75-140 syn.or should I use Redline 75-140. I live in Maryland, Summers are Hot and Winters are cold here.

If Ford recommends 75W-140, use it.

Ford factory fill 75W140 is a good synthetic oil, but not a lifetime fluid, not withstanding Ford's marketing ploys.

Consider the sponsor's lubes here on BITOG as well.

Most of us manf. 75W140 GL5/MT-1 speced fluids.
