The "Multifunctional Additive" (i.e, performs more than one additive function) Potassium Triborate, K2B3O2, or Potassium Tetraborate, K2B4O2, is a powerful detergent and anti-wear additive, which means that Redline has three Anti-Wear additives: ZDDP, Moly, and Potassium Triborate.

Yes I saw that in the original post. Red Line has Boron also and I thought it was Detergent/AW as well?

If it is that makes 4 AW total (althought I believe there are more)

Boron is a "Multifunctional Additive", as I understand so that would make 4 aw additives in Redline,(although the amound if Boron is rather low at 12ppm) correct MolaKule?

I know Boron is used in bike oils.

As I have stated before, ARX contains some cleaning esters that Redline doesn't include.

One has to realize that Redline's formula is meant to be run at high loads and high rpms. Granny driven cars with Redline might still need an occasional dose of ARX to clean up cold sludge.

I would say, however, that an engine previously and "thoroughly" cleaned with ARX probably doesn't have too much too worry about with regards to cleanliness.
