Redline 0W40 blended with Ltr 5W30. Cu seems high IMO however its only been 6000km between 1st and 2nd sample.

My guess is the redline is still doing its thing.

sorry.

#@$%! Ryno oil filter....needs to go IMO!

Nissan Skyline, 300rwkw turbo.

Probably not long enough with the redline..

ph and this is still the first run with redline which by my research seems to be ok. I did another sample to get some data to compare once I do the next OCI and run some fresh stuff through.

Hogh Pb seems consistant with many redline results. Not sure about high Cu though.

Is this the 3.5L V-6?

Something odd here. Yes, go back to standard filter.

High sodium....coolant leak?

400HP?

Sodium is typical to Redline.

Which column is which?

year, make, model, engine, driving style, oil temps, mods,???????

As Oz is RHD as is Japan we have squilions of Japanese hotcars here privately imported. A day doesn't pass when I don't see a Skyline of some description. Local Mitsubishi dealer had an 800 HP Skyline R333 out front two weeks ago. An ex show car. Wish I had the $40,000 odd they wanted for it. Apeears to have gone I noticed today.

sorry for the lack or deatils provide. 1st column is the most recent sample, seconf is the older one.

This is not a thread about big HP skylines...

Car is an R33 GTST RWD with around 300 rwkw or 400HP atw.

I have a OEM Nissan filter

Driving style...pretty hard. I only drive it on the weekend and it gets a good hammer. I have noticed oil usage to be a bit over a short peroid. I have recently installed a Catch can to check for blow by.

I suspect the higher numbers are cos the oil has only done about 6000km which means the redline is just starting to do its stuff.

Will leave it for another 2-3000 and run a new batch of RL though.

Nice car, Australians are lucky to get those cars, can't get 'em here in the states unfortunately

i saw a write up in one of my aussie performance cars mags on the newer Skyline V35. I think it was from Vagas. SOme guy hd wacked the twin turbo kit on one and it was pretty good.

cant wait for the new GTR from Japan. Gonna be awsome.
