Does the M1 Racing oil contain detergents that make it ok for daily driving? If not, whats the reccomended amount of time/mileage i would be able to drive on it and lastly, would switching to a 0 weight hurt anything on cold startups?

Yes it has all the detergents. It's a street/racing oil. It's loaded with ZDP and has a TBN of 13. It's a strong oil.

It'd be in my turbodiesel if it was available down here !!

Forget the zero in front of the 30 . It's in all probability a straight 30wt or close to and gets it's cold performance from the use of Real Synthetic Base Oils .

You might could go 7500 miles and 6 months . Just depends on how it's driven along with how well the ECU was tweeked to richen the air fuel ratio if it was modded . Some are far too rich @ wot and gas up the oil .

Drag racing is not that hard on oil so I would treat it like any other engine when thinking about oil intervals and factor in how it's driven on the street as well .

An exact recommendation cannot be given but if it we my motor and it's in proper tune no less than 4k miles unless it see's a road race track for some 40 minute sessions then things change .

You can use analysis but it only tells how the oil held up for that interval and how it was driven . Most times plain old common sense and a visual look outwits engine oil analysis .

I had the same problem with M1, I dont know how many times I had to stop and fill up on my cross country trip, then my valve seals went bad. After the head rebuild, and new seals were in place... I've been using Valvoline SuperSyn, in the process of getting some Amsoil ASL 5w30.

Maybe the valve seals were already on their way out and that's why you used a lot of M1? I and many others have used M1 in various types of Honda engines with no consumption issues.

Who cares if you use 1/2 pint on the strip?

For circle track, use a dry sump system that has a reservoir so you don't have to top off. I have yet to see a race car that doesn't use oil.

And rather than blaming the oil, go up one viscosity step. For a long time I thought Redline , Amsoil and Mobil's 5W30 stuff was too volatile; found out the engine simply likes 10W30's and 5W40's better.
