Red + Yellow Dots and Tire Balancing

Wow! Great posts. I just posted a question about just that. And then I found this. I still have a concern because my brand new tires only have a red dot.
Also this is a brand new car with factory tires and wheels.
It's a Toyota RAV4 hybrid and I do see a significant amount of tape on the inside of the wheels. All is good. The car rolls along real smooth but down the road. I'm just wondering how critical those dots are to call out to the installer. I did this many years ago and was looked at like I was nuts. And these days with prices being higher and quality getting lower, I'm slowly becoming an advocate to express quality concerns. Maybe I'm just becoming older and grumpier! Thanks in advance for any comments.

Bottomline: It doesn't do anything for aftermarket tires, because the wheel isn't usually marked using the valve hole. Used to be, but that was a long time in the past.
