They're incredibly addictive. I think I've eaten more than 1/3 of the jar over these past few days.

Does anyone else find them to be incredibly delicious?

The red dye alone can't be good for you. I think that's the #1 ingredient....followed by sugar and wheat gluten or something...what is the artificial flavor? I used to like them in 1966.

They are very good Mike.

I don't eat too many but as far as candy goes, they are up there for taste.

I'm a Jujyfruit candy consumer. They are my favorite for many many decades.

Take care, Bill

Please hand over your man-card.

For me it's Twizzlers or nothing. I only eat licorice about once a year though.

When I was about 12 yrs old, I had a friend of the same age who basically subsided on Twizzlers red licorice and Mountain Dew. Needless to say, every time he went to the dentist he had cavities.

Licorice is something you don't want to eat too much of, it's basically just solid corn syrup and red dye.

Real licorice is not just corn syrup and dye. There's a very specific reason why you shouldn't eat too much of it. Google it.

As for Twizzlers and Skittles and all that garbage, what male even wants to eat that?

Soft licorice is great, I have maybe a stick a couple times a year.

I don't go on the red lolly stuff...don't even know why it's called licorice down here.

The real reason not to eat real licorice is because it's nasty!
That and the blood pressure thing, among others. But mostly, it's nasty....

I won't argue about licorice tasting nasty. However, (real) licorice does have some benefits, while the blood pressure issue at which you are hinting won't be an issue unless you gobble that stuff by the pound.
