hey guys! gotta replace my cv axles as the boot is compromised on one and i might as well do both as i always do highway driving and dont really want to have a problem in the future on the highway.
my truck has 250,000 km on it
and tbh i think i am only going to be driving this truck for another 8 months maximum and after that it will be parked and occasionaly driven as im just gonna get something new.
out of these cv axles which is best from rockauto.
CARDONE 661325 $60 CAD
SURTRACK / TRAKMOTIVE GM8026 $62.80
GSP NCV10241 $74.30
CARDONE 661325HD $80.84
so the cardone HD has a heavy duty thermoplastic boot and seems to be the most expensive option but i dont really know much about cv axles and brands but i dont think i need to spend the extra on the HD model since i wont really be using these new cv's that much so like is it really necessary to spend extra on the HD boot? or is the overall joint better too compared to the normal 661325
so which would u go with or what have u gone with and has it worked well?
