recommend shocks/struts for honda prelude01

hello all, I am looking for shocks, any recommendation. I heard of Tiens Ha, koni yellow and now i Heard of buddy club or body club(anyone heard of this brand, they supposily have lifetime warranty) I want the shocks to be adjustable so when Im on the streets, everything smooth but when I'm on the track its there for performance.

I use yellow Koni in my car. A little firmer than stock shocks when set at soft. If I adjust it to (maximum) firm setup, the car is near undriveable on bad roads but great on the track.

If you can afford Koni Yellow they are the best. For a cheaper setup that require much less investment a good set of spring and KYB AGX is also pretty good.

I agree on the KYBs, great shocks, not too expensive. I am about to get some and intall on my Integra, Joe

yep that's right. they are a good brand, but they are rather expensive.

koni yellow with ground control coilover skeeves are what it looks like you need. decent combination for someone who doesn't want to spend the money on a full coilover set.

kyb AGX with ground control coilover sleeves are good for a racer on a budget. they also have a lifetime warranty and are excellent quality.

i only want struts, i dont want to lower my car, eveyrone keeps on talkinga bout ground control, is this really neccessary?

Tokico 5-way adjustables should be exactly what you're looking for. If you're going to track it, i'm surpised you aren't looking for performance springs. coil overs a lot of times do not add performance, just lowering. Eibach springs are progressive springs and work quite well to lower slightly while adding greater handling ability; with properly matched struts of course.

if you dont want to lower your car and you want to keep your stock springs and dont really need adjustable rebound shocks, then go with bilstein HD shocks. Great shocks.

If you want the rebound adjustability, then get Koni Yellow 'sports'. $129 ea at http://www.redshiftmotorsports.com/suspension.htm Chris is an awesome guy who can help you with almost any suspension question about hondas, or just general suspension theory.

that great, i might go with that, im having problems with my tire wear, only reason im getting the shocks. i already bought the shocks for 450 though. thanks
