I have 245/55/R19 Hankooks on a 2017 2L ECOboost Edge and am looking to replace these tires With something that has low rolling resistance and better handling characteristics.
Thoughts/ Suggestions??
Took Hankooks off Explorer at 10k~went to eagle GT II … better … also running Conti contacts … in that size don’t think rolling resistance is a problem and some tend to be mild treads … so consider your driving weather first …
Nokians are supposed to be top notch tires.
If your looking for a low cost tire that is a good quality, and or better than a Hankook which I don't care for. Try a Nexen, its a south Korean co. that the government mandated to make a "good" tire. I have been using them on my trucks for 8 years, 4 sets.

I second this choice. Continental owns General tire, makers of the RT43, so it must be good.
OP wants to replace the factory UHPAS tire with something that handles pavement better AND LRR. I doubt a CUV all-season tire will check both boxes.
that tire size doesn't give too many options
