My 92 wrangler recomends GL-5 75W-90 for the manual (AX-15) trany and diffrentials. Its been 65k total miles so far and I need to change it. I was looking at the amsoil products. I was thinking SVG for the diff, but for the trany should I use SEVERE GEAR Synthetic or Long Life Synthetic Gear Lube?

Many will suggest using Molakule's SF MTL-R here.
Well after doing more research and talking to the dealer the GL-5 is a misprint and it is recomended for a GL-3 for AX-15 Trany. Will SF MTL-R still be good? If not, what whould you guys recomend?
Write to Molakule at SF, he can tell you. I really like the SF MTL-R in my Subaru manual transmission...MUCH better shifting.
